Juan Sabines Guerrero y sus Iniciativas

En el 2006, Juan Sabines Guerrero llegó a ser gobernador del estado de Chiapas después de ser candidato de la Coalición por el Bien de Todos (PRD, PT y Convergencia). Desde sus inicios se le consideró cómo un político comprometido, trabajador y sobre todo progresista ya que muchas de sus iniciativas han favorecido notablemente al desarrollo del estado.

Uno de los puntos más importantes en su agenda ha sido el manejo eficiente de recursos públicos. En 2007 firmó el decreto de “Medida de Austeridad, Disciplina, y Racionalidad del Gasto del Gobierno del Estado” con el objetivo de cuidar el dinero de Chiapas y usarlo de manera inteligente y beneficial para todos los ciudadanos.

También en el 2007, Juan Sabines Guerrero le dio vida a un proyecto enfocado en dar apoyo a la gente de la tercera edad. A través del programa llamado “Amanecer”, el gobernador de Chiapas quiso asegurar que la gente mayor a los 64 años tuviera una mejor calidad de vida a través de una ayuda económica. Hoy en día, adultos de más de veinte municipios del estado reciben dicha compensación.

Juan Sabines y su gobierno también entendieron que el futuro de Chiapas está en los jóvenes y por eso promulgó la “Ley del Estado de Chiapas y La Juventud”. Con dicha ley se busca que el gobierno del estado vele por los intereses de sus jóvenes. Entre las preocupaciones atendidas, se pretende que vivan con bienestar económico conseguido a través de programas de capacitación y bolsas de trabajo; que tengan un desarrollo social en donde se atiendan temas como las adicciones, la orientación vocacional y el desarrollo comunitario; y que tengan participación activa en la sociedad para que la comunidad se pueda beneficiar de su vitalidad.

Otra de las iniciativas de Juan Sabines Guerrero fue la “Ley de Promoción y Desarrollo Turístico”. El gobernador entendió que su estado es un lugar hermoso que cautiva y por eso promulgó está ley con la que pretendió generar dinero y trabajo para los ciudadanos. Es una realidad que el turismo siempre será una fuente de empleo, y Juan Sabines entendió que en un lugar como Chiapas eso se debe impulsar al máximo.

Finalmente está la constante e insaciable búsqueda del gobierno chiapaneco hacia la igualdad de la mujer. A través de la “Ley de Acceso a una Vida Libre de Violencia para las Mujeres” y la “Ley de Igualdad entre Mujeres y Hombres”, el estado de Chipas busca darle fuerza al rol y a al realidad de la mujer. Algunos de los temas que abordan dichas leyes son los de erradicar todo tipo de violencia en su contra, reconocer y proteger el trabajo de ellas en casa, abrir un número de clínicas específicas para su cuidado, dar becas a mujeres embarazadas para que continúen con sus estudios y generarles más oportunidades laborales.

Estas son solo algunas de las iniciativas que Juan Sabines Guerrero ha impulsado a lo largo de su sexenio; siempre pensando en la gente y en lo que es mejor para Chiapas. Es indudable el compromiso y el interés que el gobernador tiene con el estado.

Now, if we think that the important thing is to live our life with intensity and fullness, and choosing the ways that we have to serve us to deploy our potential, to become better people and participate in the miracle and mystery of the invention we same, we would conclude that only each of us can know what are the most appropriate ways at different times of our lives.

In this sense, the only option that we have is to follow the guidance of our inner voice.
